'If It's Football, It's Vital'

#LUvBC still on but no further tickets on sale

As events elsewhere in the UK escalate, Leeds had 'small pockets of disorder' last night but there is as yet no suggestion that tonight's Carling Cup clash between Leeds United and Bradford City will be called off.

A significant West Yorkshire police presence will be needed at Elland Road meaning fans of both sides should keep an eye on any latest developments, just in case.

Tonight provides an excuse for that minority of football 'supporters' who like to look for trouble with their opposite numbers. It will be a passionate affair within an already tense atmosphere. The majority of us want to go and watch football, for our sake if you're thinking of behaving like an idiot please don't.

Equally if you don't have a ticket for tonight's game then you will have to make do with watching on Sky Sports. Following the advice of both Leeds United and the police tickets have been taken off sale. If you don't have one, you're not getting in. Turning up at the ground anyway is a sure fire way to create potential flashpoints around the ground.

'luckily' I've just had a cruciate reconstruction op & didn't fancy being at the match unable to avoid any potential trouble, very glad I wasn't tempted to get a ticket now as I think it could get even naughtier than normal.
