Parkinson: I think we deserved a point
Bradford couldn't complete a perfect Easter weekend when they faced Shrewsbury on Monday, where The Bantams suffered a 1-0 defeat.
Phil Parkinson feels that his side deserved more though.
That said he the Bradford manager knows that if you continue to miss chances you get punished: 'we've had too many defeats full stop and we've lost a few games 1-0. That's frustrating because we haven't scored on our travels for a long time.
'We're working on it in terms of finishing and set plays but it just didn't happen for us. Over the second 45 minutes I think we deserved a point.'
The goal that condemned Bradford to defeat was one that Parkinson also felt could have been avoided: 'the frustrating thing was that the goal we conceded was a scrappy one. The ball was bouncing around in our box and you expect someone to clear that, and it didn't happen.'
