'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Parkinson: Lets replicate that

Bradford are all but safe from relegation following the 3-1 win at Northampton on Saturday afternoon.

For The Bantams to now be dragged into the relegation places they would have to lose all three games they have left and see virtually every club below their 18th place win all their matches - not impossible, but an unlikely scenario.

Even so Phil Parkinson wants his side to replicate the weekend show to ensure this: 'we've got three games to go and we want to take that type of performance into all three of them.

'We knew Northampton were fast starters so we couldn't afford to wait for them to start playing before us. They are the in-form team and I impressed upon the players the need to compete from the start.'

Credit was also given to Nahki Wells, who scored a hat-trick: 'Nahki scored three great goals for us - he's a cool finisher - and his third goal came at just the right time after they had pulled one back.'
