Professional Bradford contract for Baker
Adam Baker has signed his first professional contract with Bradford.
Baker, who has just completed a two-year scholarship with The Bantams, has signed a one-year contract.
Phil Parkinson feels sure that the striker has the ability to make it into the first team, hence why a contract has been offered: 'the criteria for earning a pro contract is simply whether we feel they're going to be good enough to play in the first team next year.
'It's obviously pleasing for Adam to be offered a professional contract. He deserves it and he now needs to go away in the summer and work really hard to give him a chance of making a real statement once the lads come back for pre-season training.'
