Bradford sign Davies from Stoke

Bradford have signed Andrew Davies following a successful loan spell last season.

Davies, who was on loan at Valley Parade for much of last season from Stoke, has signed a one-year contract with The Bantams.

Phil Parkinson, as he told the official website, said: 'I am really pleased to get Andrew on board for next season. He is certainly a great first signing of the summer for us.

27-year-old Davies, as he also told the official website, didn't have much to think about following a chat with Parkinson and was keen to sign on: 'following my spell here last season, I was blown away with the fantastic support this club can call upon. So when the gaffer sat me down and told me about his plans for next season, it was an offer I couldn't really turn down.

'I believe next season is the season this club can finally turn the corner.

'I have a lot of time for the gaffer and the coaching staff here at Bradford and I am really enthusiastic about what we're all trying to achieve here.'
