Five-star Bradford batter Wimbledon!

Bradford 5-1 AFC Wimbledon

Bradford inflicted a second emphatic defeat upon AFC Wimbledon in a matter of days when they crushed the visitors at Valley Parade on Saturday.

The writing was on the wall after just a few minutes when Nahki Wells (3) gave Bradford an early lead. Dons debutant loan signing Curtis Haynes-Brown (13) marked this with an own goal with Andrew Davies (31) making it three on the half hour mark.

Louis Harris (35) gave Wimbledon a glimmer of hope when he pulled one back, but a glimmer was all it was... Rory McArdle (37) and James Hanson (45) scored before the half was out to ensure the hosts went in five-one up!

Haynes-Brown's debut to forget was compounded when he was carried off on a stretcher following an accidental clash; this seems serious with the game held up for almost 10-minutes.

Bradford will be delighted with a 5-1 win, which many might have expected would have been even better given that was the half time scoreline!
