Connell rescues a point

Accrington 1-1 Bradford

8th Sept 2012
15:00
Crown Ground

Bradford should have probably beaten Accrington on Saturday afternoon, but for a while looked like they might have lost before securing a draw in the end.

At half time the sides went in goalless, but how this was the case (as far as Bradford fans will be concerned) was strange! Zavon Hines had one effort well saved before the post denied him. James Hanson also had an effort cleared off the line.

With time running out Padraig Amond (73) looked as though he had handed Accrington a win, when he opened the scoring but with the clock ticking down Alan Connell (83) ensured The Bantams got a point when he struck to see it end 1-1.
