Parkinson: Now the lads can celebrate

Bradford produced a dramatic comeback from two-nil down to knock out Burton 3-2 after extra time in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.

Phil Parkinson was left under little illusion that his side eventually got what they deserved as a win in normal time, let alone extra time, was merited: 'We thought we were 2-0 down against the run of play after dominating the game and we said at half-time that if we can play in the same manner we will certainly get chances.

'I thought with the chances we created we deserved to finish the game in normal, never mind extra-time.'

Victory sends Bradford into round four for the first time in almost 25-years, now The Bantams boss has told his players to "celebrate" as he awaits a good draw: 'It's great to be in the hat for the first time for such a long time. Let's hope we get a big draw - everyone in the club deserves it.

'We played with commitment and drive and produced a terrific performance. Now the lads can celebrate.'

Bradford's fourth round opponents will be known tonight!
