Goalless at Spotland

Rochdale 0-0 Bradford
2nd October 2012
19:45
Spotland

Bradford ended with the numerical advantage at Rochdale on Tuesday evening but the sides ended up sharing the points at Spotland.

With half time approaching Bobby Grant put in a poor challenge on former Rochdale man Rory McArdle, this brought him an early bath with him sent off - the sides went in goalless though.

The sending off also saw both managers, Dale's John Coleman and The Bantams Phil Parkinson, share "a heated exchange" as a result.

Bradford put the 10-men under pressure in the second half but an Andrew Davies effort, cleared off the line, was about as close as either side came in the second half with the game ending in a 0-0 draw.
