Parkinson: We left ourselves with too much to do

Bradford's minor blip in form of late continued when they lost a seven-goal thriller at Dagenham.

Phil Parkinson knows his side battled back well, which impressed him, and deserved a point but also knows they gave themselves "too much to do" when 3-0 and 4-2 down in the eventual 4-3 defeat: 'I thought we deserved a point for the way we came back, we showed a lot of character and could have easily got something from the game.

'But we left ourselves with too much to do. We should have never gone three goals behind, we conceded some bad goals.'

If The Bantams are going to achieve what they want this season the boss knows they need to be beating the likes of Dagenham: 'We've had a good start to the season but we should be performing better against a side like Dagenham. No disrespect, but we weren't at the races in the first half.

'We knew it was going to be a tough game, but I'm disappointed we've not got anything from the match.'
