Bradford spot on

Hartlepool 0-0 Bradford (2-3 on pens)
Johnstone's Paint Northern 2nd Round

Bradford held their nerve to advance to the next round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after a penalty shootout win at Hartlepool on Tuesday night.

During the 90-minutes both sides had a few chances, with both keepers tested.

Arguably the best chance came to Bradford's Ricky Ravenhill who saw a header come back off the bar so a penalty shootout was needed to determine the winner after a 0-0 draw.

Jon McLaughlin save onto the bar from Evan Horwood, with this effort them bouncing down on the line and them to safety, saw The Bantams win the shootout 3-2 and take their place in round three.
