Cobblers! Bantams denied

Northampton 1-1 Bradford
FA Cup 1st Round
3rd November 2012
15:00
Sixfields

Bradford's cup exploits couldn't be extended to the FA Cup, however they're still in the cup and will take their place in the second round after a draw with Northampton on Saturday.

With chances coming and going for both sides it was Bradford that took the lead shortly after the half hour. Will Atkinson's (32) goal was enough to send the visitors into the break one-nil up.

Having been denied previously Northampton finally forced an equaliser on the hour through Louis Moult (61).

Neither side could manage a winner, so the game ended in a 1-1 draw with a replay needed to determine who will advance into the second round.
