Bantams Boxing Day Delight

Bradford began the game missing leading scorer Nahki Wells who was only deemed fit enough to occupy a place on the bench.

The Bantams had the better of the openings exchanges and took a deserved lead in the 24th minute when Gary Thompson tucked away a knock down from the Vital Bradford player to watch James Hanson. What did the Vital followers think to Hanson`s performance?

Out of form Accrington came to life in the second half and looked like they had been on the receiving end of some half time choice words for gaffer Paul Cook. They were testing the credentials for the promotion pushing Bantams. The Stanley task was made much more difficult when Dean Winnard was sent off for a second bookable offence following a challenge on Bradford City superstar Nahki Wells.

This would not stop Stanley pushing on and they drew level in the 79th minute when Rommy Boco levelled from Luke Joyce's free-kick.

The Goal Prompted Phil Parkinson to introduce the returning Kyel Reid, Reid was to be the provider of the winner for Bradford when his cross was headed home by Alan Connell.

What did you all think to the performance? Let`s have your comments below.
