In Parky We Trust

I have heard fans speaking after the game yesterday and throughout today about the formation and selection yesterday.

In recent away games we have lacked width with Parkinson choosing to play with a diamond type midfield. Garry Thompson was missing for the trip to underhill, though I did still expect Parkinson to start with 4 across midfield providing width. What were the thoughts of the fans?

With goals only coming from Wells and James Hanson seemingly lacking confidence would we have liked to see 4 across the middle with both Turgott and Reid playing out wide?

When Wells is running the channels this leaves Hanson isolated up top with Jones looking to join in as much as possible.

The chances came in the second half and we looked much more exciting. Of course I want to see a winning city team, however if we are going to struggle on the road lets go down in a positive fashion.

Am I being over critical? were the tactics correct and are we just missing a proven goal scorer?

How do you feel we will line up against Villa? Will Parky stick with Ravenhill??
