There wasn't an international break for Bradford, however they had to do without Rory McArdle last weekend.

In his absence Bradford still went on to record an impressive win, with McArdle named as an unused substitute in what could have been a famous Northern Ireland win when they came from behind to lead Portugal two-one, they eventually went on to lose 4-2 last Friday.

A game against Luxemburg on Tuesday would have been one that not only would the Irish have had down as one to win, but a game that McArdle might have felt a chance would have come?

McArdle was again named among the subs but he wasn't able to get on as Michael O'Neill's side slumped to an embarrassing 3-2 defeat!

The defender is now back in England and back in training with the Bantams.

Speaking of training, if the latest reports from SportsDirect News are right McArdle and the rest of his Bradford teammates could be joined by Bolton's Tom Eaves on loan?

It's been claimed that Shrewsbury also want him to go back on loan with them but Bradford have managed to secure him.

As the saying goes, time will tell with this one won't it...
