Defender Back In Full Training
Last week Phil Parkinson urged caution with James Meredith's return from injury, however he's delivered positive news today.
The Australian defender has been given the all clear to make a return to full training.
With him doing this he could now play a part in the Bantams end of season run-in as the club look to make sure 100% that they remain in league one, with the Bradford boss praising the effort and determination shown by the left-back to get himself back in this position.
Parkinson told the official website: 'It is great to have James back. He has worked so hard to get back out there. He has been doing so well recently that we pushed forward a specialist's appointment and had an x-ray done early on his foot.
'The specialist was happy with the results and has given him the ok to start outdoor running again.
'Mez has shown a great attitude throughout his injury and a real determination to get back as quick as possible.
'We are expecting to see him out on the pitch before the end of the season.'
Meredith's last outing for Bradford came back on New Year's Day with him unable to feature since that point due to breaking a bone in his foot, which ended his hopes of making it into the Australian world cup squad when previously there were some thoughts he could gatecrash that party.
