Bantams Beaten By UCD

Bantams Beaten By UCD

Bradford's pre-season continued with them just edged out by the odd goal in five against UCD AFC on Tuesday.

The week-long tour of Ireland started with the Bantams facing UCD but it was the Irish side that just had the edge in the end as we twice came back from a goal-down to be beaten 3-2 in the end at the UCD Bowl.

First half UCD goals from Robbie Creevy and Conor Cannon came either side of Clarkson equalisers, on in each half, with Toyeed Mustapha coming off the bench to make the most of a defensive mix-up to grab the winner 12-minutes from time.

Phil Parkinson looked at most of his squad, including a couple of trialists, Angelo Balanta and Nick Arnold, too with the game giving a good workout for all, which is the main thing at this stage.

UCD AFC 3 (Creevy 21, Cannon 44, Mustapha 78)
