It's been a cracking start to the league 1 season for Bradford, until Tuesday night it wasn't bad for our opponents either!

Crawley went into the meeting with the Bantams on Tuesday with a 100% recorded but we ended that by beating them 3-1, to move up to second in the league 1 table, at Broadfield.

After a goalless first half James Hanson (49) was the first player, in the league or cup, to breach the Crawley defence when he fired home from skipper Stephen Darby's cross to give us the lead.

Crawley weren't behind for long though with Joe Walsh (54) heading them level within five-minutes as he converted Ryan Dickson's corner.

A point wouldn't have been a bad result but we weren't settling for that and took the lead when Billy Knott (62) restored our lead when he volleyed home his first goal for the club just past the hour.

Sensing blood went for the kill, only the bar denied Jason Bennett us a third before on-loan Derby County youngster Mason Bennett (77) showed his ability as he chipped Brian Jenson to wrap up our three-one win!
